Paternoster House Workplace
A leading legal finance firm are in the process of relocating their London headquarters to Paternoster House, in the City of London.
With an existing space which was deeply sectioned off, the team found the surrounding architecture was unavoidably splitting their staff into two groups, creating silos and challenges connecting. The vision for their new workplace revolves around bringing everyone together and introducing the concept of using spaces more flexibly.
Opting for a non-traditional welcome area, we worked with the team to create a hospitality-led client working lounge, with views overlooking St. Paul's Cathedral.
Opting for a non-traditional welcome area, we worked with the team to create a hospitality-led client working lounge, with views overlooking St. Paul's Cathedral. The client lounge has a self-service refresh zone, soft seating, access to a 10 person meeting room and a boardroom, with a bespoke table and a feature boxed ceiling.
At the heart of the workplace is ‘the Hive’, a terrazzo clad kitchen and breakout area which will be used for interactive internal and external events.
On the opposite side is the ‘meeting hub' where staff collaborate within a variety of enclosed and open meeting spaces. At the heart of the workplace is ‘the Hive’, a terrazzo clad kitchen and breakout area which will be used for interactive internal and external events. A dedicated area for concentrated work is positioned at the east end of the floor-plate. Here, staff can touchdown, focus on individual projects or pop into a non-bookable room for calls.
Working with our team at The Bon Collective, the interior design for this client’s new workspace focuses on a holistic, connected environment, providing a mix of areas to focus, collaborate and socialise.
